Exploratory Drilling and Formation Analysis
In the process of analyzing possible well locations, it is often advisable to drill a "test hole" to determine the likelihood of producing a successful well that will meet our customer's needs and expectations. Throughout this testing phase, downhole geophysical logging is performed along with a detailed analysis of formation samples to determine the geological formation properties, the location of the water-bearing formations and the potential yield of the well. This information, along with our extensive well log library and many years of experience, allow us to assist our customers in determining the optimum well location.

Well Design
Designing a well for the best yield possible begins with analyzing the information gathered from the geophysical logs and formation analysis. With this information, we are able to determine the depth, type and specific location of the water-bearing formations. Using our own professional staff or third party engineers, determinations are then made concerning size, depth, casing material, well screen design and placement, location of gravel pack, and well development and test pumping requirements.

Well Drilling and Construction
Humboldt Drilling & Pump uses both traditional and advanced well drilling and construction techniques to depths exceeding 2500 feet. Our knowledge of reverse circulation drilling provides us with a competitive edge in our ability to offer customers this highly productive drilling process. Humboldt has an extensive fleet of well-maintained drilling equipment capable of covering the full spectrum of drilling requirements.

Pumping Systems
Through our experienced staff of professionals, we are capable of custom designing a pumping system to meet our customer's needs. As a stocking distributor of several major brands of submersible and turbine pumps, we inventory all major parts in order to respond quickly to a particular need. Whether designing a system for a new well, or replacing or repairing a system already in place, we have the expertise to meet the requirements of our customers.

Pump Service and Maintenance
Our extensive fleet of service rigs, highly trained personnel, and large spare parts inventory allows Humboldt to respond quickly to our customer's needs. We understand the critical importance of having water available for irrigation, or the urgency of restoring municipal water service. Our availability 24 hours a day, seven days a week, assures consistent maintenance and peak performance.

Well Servicing and Rehabilitation
Due to a variety of factors, the productivity of a water well can begin to decline over time. Our professionals are ready to diagnose the situation and identify specific causes and possible solutions. We are capable of utilizing a variety of mechanical and chemical rehabilitation techniques in our efforts to restore your water system to peak production and efficiency in the most cost-effective manner.

Irrigation Systems
Humboldt also offers center pivot irrigation systems to our agricultural customers through our relationship with Valmont Manufacturing. We have the knowledge and experience to install and service irrigation systems of all sizes and also maintain an extensive parts inventory to support our customer's needs.
